Initial Office Visit
An office visit is required for understanding and treating patient injuries or ailments. On your initial visit more time and work is required so we can better understand the exact nature of the problem. We make an effort to spend as much time as possible with each patient so concerns can be addressed and the treatment can be fully explained and understood.

Following Up
Follow-up visits will be required so we can adequately track and adjust the treatment accordingly. These visits usually occur 2-4 weeks post-operatively (if surgery is required) and then again after 6 weeks. It is important that the doctor’s treatment be followed as closely as possible to avoid complications or less than desirable results.

How to Prepare

During the initial consultation, it will be important to know what medications you are currently taking, what allergies you have, and a clear description of the problem for which you are seeking treatment. It might be helpful to write this information down prior to your visit to help make sure the information is as accurate as possible.

Scheduling Your Visit
Time is always a factor in everyone’s day. While we do our very best to have the doctor see you at your appointed time, unforeseen tests, evaluations, and emergencies can affect our daily schedule. You can expect to spend between 10 and 20 minutes with the doctor on your initial visit. However, please allow for an hour for your scheduled appointment time. If you’re taking off work don’t forget to factor in travel time to and from the office.
