| About Orthopaedic Surgery
Orthopedic Surgery is focused on treating multiple disorders of the skeletal and muscular system. These
disorders can range from simple fractures to total joint replacements to muscular repair.
The goal is to reconstruct the anatomy to its original anatomical condition. Because some injuries
can be more severe than others or disease can permanently alter the anatomical structures not all surgery
can reproduce a result that is a good as the original condition.
Before surgery is performed, an expectation of results should be understood by the patient.
